Melbourne is one of the coffee capitals of the world so the standard is very high. There are heaps of good cafes around, but sitting on top of the pile is at Brother Baba Budan. Specialists in single origin coffee from quality international coffee beans. When ever I’m in the city, this is where I get my caffeine fix. Usually it’s a smooth silky Caffe latte that goes down way too easily. The quirky ceiling made from chairs is worth a look too.

Over the past 20 years he’s created numerous animated TV commercials and music videos, Illustrated for major advertising campaigns and created visuals for award winning iphone games. Marco has worked with world renowned animation studios Animal Logic, Iloura, Method and XYZ Studios. His artwork has been exhibited in various art shows in Melbourne and also covers the walls of one of Melbourne’s iconic bars, The George Basement.

It’s only about ten meters above sea level, but for some reason it feels like you can see everything from the top of this hill. The 360 degree view spans from the city all the way across the bay and over the tree tops of the streets behind. I come up here to clear my mind and just to relax. Sunsets from here are amazing.
