Clémence Polès is a New York-based creative strategist & marketer. Born in the south of France and raised in Dubai, she graduated from King’s College London with a Masters in International Marketing. Prior to consulting, Clemence was leading the marketing efforts and digital content of tech start-up, Splacer. Since, she has worked with clients such as Sonos, West Elm, Soho House, Casper, Canal Street Market and more. My exhibition from Dec1 2017- Feb1 2018. gallery space on the picture. Usagi NY is secret cool creative place in Dumbo area. The space is designed by Sou Fujimoto. You can find rare archtecture book from Japan and Moma Book store. There are nice Japanese design products that difficult to find in NY. Its great for gift, or special object for your home. My recommendation is Matcha latte (usagi have very hi-quarity real Japanes Matcha from Ippodo Kyoto) -

When the weather is nice I love to come here with my friends and eat falafel and talk forever and lay in the sun. It’s just a short walk from my place and has a great view of Manhattan and there’s always good trash washed up on the shore.

The exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art can speak for themselves, but the Sculpture Garden there is the best backyard in the city.

Unlike a lot of neighborhoods the sidewalks in this area are often still paved in the original slate slabs. You can see “extra” pieces sometimes chained up outside like this…. Why pour concrete?
