The Merri Creek is a magical place. With a walking path running along it, amid the city and suburban chaos it is a passage of wild green and beautiful weeds. The place has ancient significance to the indigenous Wurrundjeri tribes as a place of meeting, living and hunting.
Tai Snaith is an artist and author living in Melbourne Australia. She wanders through different ideas and works them out in may different mediums including ceramics, collage, conversations and broadcasting. You may hear Tai’s voice on local cult Melbourne radio station RRRfm (102.7) or read one of Tai’s 6 picture books published by Thames and Hudson. Tai has a 30m long artwork inside the State Library of Victoria and soon to have a public sculpture on the Great Victorian Rail Trail.
