Tai Snaith is an artist and author living in Melbourne Australia. She wanders through different ideas and works them out in may different mediums including ceramics, collage, conversations and broadcasting. You may hear Tai’s voice on local cult Melbourne radio station RRRfm (102.7) or read one of Tai’s 6 picture books published by Thames and Hudson. Tai has a 30m long artwork inside the State Library of Victoria and soon to have a public sculpture on the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Tarrawarra is a day trip from the city that everyone must make at least once. A private collection of Australian art made public in an incredible piece of contemporary architecture. Situated on the most bucolic and picturesque piece of countryside you can imagine. Now has a new restaurant and cellar door, so you can buy a bottle of wine and sit overlooking the lake. It's pretty perfect.

The Merri Creek is a magical place. With a walking path running along it, amid the city and suburban chaos it is a passage of wild green and beautiful weeds. The place has ancient significance to the indigenous Wurrundjeri tribes as a place of meeting, living and hunting.

If you find Quarries park and playground you have to keep walking, over the hill towards the creek and then down to the creek trail to find this secret place. It's a labyrinth made from blue stones and is maintained by a voluntary group of mystical new druids or something, for all to use. A great place to find and walk the path, focus your thoughts and clear your mind. Best when it is a frosty morning, like in this pic.

These iconic recording studios are the beating heart of the Melbourne Music Scene. Musicians from all over the world come here to rehearse and record albums. Every recording room has an installation by a different Melbourne artist and the front is adorned in a two giant billboards with changing artists work (this one is mine from 2017). Everyone from famous locals such as Courtney Barnett, Archie Roach, The Drones and Paul Kelly to visitors like Tool, Beck and Elvis Costello. Founders Quincy McLean and Helen Marcou are total legends too.

Khyati’s career has seen her work across disciplines, drawing inspiration from the context of the work and often exploring the edges of all things visual for the likes of the Oscars, New York Times, New Yorker Magazine, Apple, Adobe, Absolut, Instagram and Snapchat. Khyati was one of Print Magazine's 15 New Visual Artists under 30 in 2017, was chosen as the Artistry Creator of the Year at Adweek’s Creator Visionary Awards, won the ADC Young Guns 19 and most recently, made it to the Forbes 30under30 India List.

Studio Vanessa Barragão is a design studio focusing on the artisanal techniques and wasted yarns from the industry to produce textiles and products for interiors. Growing up in the seaside, her connection to the ocean is the inspiration for her artworks. Vanessa Barragão’s work is characterized by her captivating environments of coral reefs, cleverly combining craft and recycled materials into unique and luxurious sculptural carpets and tapestries for floors and walls. Vanessa was born in Albufeira, in the south of Portugal. Her studio was founded in 2014 when she attended a Master degree at the Lisbon University in fashion and textiles design. There she developed her first wool yarn collection and tapestries through an ecological artisanal process. Currently, she is based in Porto, the Northern region of Portugal where the nation’s textile industry core is located, and divides her time between collaborating as a textile designer for an artisanal rugs factory and running her studio.

Mitzi Akaha is a New York-based actress with roots in the Midwestern US, Japan, and the central coast of California. After developing her career in Japan, she relocated to New York in 2014 where she continues to contribute her particular talents and peculiar humor to a variety of projects, starring in national commercial spots, music videos and films. She is also a published writer and illustrator and has multiple scripts in development.
