Chateau de Rentilly is located in the east suburb of Paris, 30 minutes away. In a nice park, you can discover a masterpiece of the artist Xavier Veilhan, he covered the castle with mirrors ! The architecture becomes spectacular.

Café Breizh will hit the spot if you’re in the mood for a crêpe. Which in my case, is often. They’ve got them in spades, along with savoury galettes and buckets of cider. Mmmm. It was a popular spot so get in there early. The reason it made my favourites was the delicious (organic) fare. But more importantly (for me anyway) the lovely staff who brought my kid an extra plate with a sweet, for her toy ‘Doggle’. So Café Breizh—you’re ace. I would have taken some more useful pictures but I was distracted by the ‘Timbres Papiers Timbres’ tile typography outside.

A small market open Tuesday to Saturday in a beautiful hall at 39, rue de Bretagne in the 3rd arrondissement. People come here for lunch as much as for shopping. It is the oldest market in Paris and it takes its name from an orphanage, established in the sixteenth century, who collected the lost children and wore red. Especially the Japanese cookshop and the Cous-Cous are worth going there.

We are very into French galettes (buckwheat crepes). But it’s important to know the good restaurants who make the good crepe batter because it makes all the difference. That’s why Bretons is one of our spot. You can find us there once a week at least.

Cocktails bar & asian cuisine, LAO is a really nice place, close to Pigalle !
