I’ve always had a thing for bridges. It is something with the way they connect the known with the unknown and spans across vast distances. When I was new in Vancouver I worked for a while in a deli downtown. I used to walk across Granville bridge every night with the city glittering into the water all around me. Just beautiful!

Straight underneath the bridge lies this charming little island that houses some of my favourite restaurants, such as the Sandbar and the yellow Bridges. Among all the things here you can also find a theatre, a brewery, a public food market and of course the Emily Carr university.
