De Plantage is a bright, elegant brasserie beside Artis where great design.

I love how small this place is, but it offers such amazing quality in cheeses, meats, wines, bread etc.  You can also have lunch here.  Definitely worth picking up fresh food here!

A really lovely restaurant with terasse with lots of sun hidden in the west and close to Erasmus Park. It is a place where you will a lot of locals catching up. The food is always great and there is a super cosy and friendly atmosphere. The kind of place you actually want to keep a secret so don't tell anyone! ;)

Cinecenter is special to me because I used to work here. It is a great place to see all of your favourite movies.

FC Hyena is a small cinema located in Amsterdam North, with a view over the Ij. The program is pretty good, as well as the bites and natural wine.
