De Waaghals (= The Dare-devil) is a very nice vegetarian restaurant. The atmosphere is informal, but the food is very nice, refined and creative. Organic ingredients are used as much as possible. Each month a dish focuses on a different country.

Since I was a child I always loved to go to the aquarium in Artis. This mysterious world that we will never really get to know makes me wonder and raises questions. I like this mysterious world. It’s a place to relax and think things over.

The best place to read a book outside or inside one of the greenhouses and be surrounded by all of these different species of nature.

View from my studio. I love the view from my studio. It is at the University campus and has a great architectural mix of old and new buildings. It is special to have such a large area in the centre of small Amsterdam where it is quiet, no traffic and no stores. 

With 24 hr licence to function as club, nights easily turn into days here. De school houses a coffee and a restaurant place, you can literally enter Friday and leave Sunday. :0 Quite in weekdays with great coffee, atmosphere and natural light
