Rixdorf is definitely my favourite area of Berlin, because it is a historic village within in Berlin. At the moment it is under heavy construction, and I found this strange, nearly taken-down building sitting in the middle of the quaint neighbourhood.

Italian Cuisine with a modern twist in a cozy atmosphere. Tip: Try the pasta with figs. 

On a leafy street in Kreuzberg is Kuratiert, a contemporary illustration gallery and shop selling prints, ceramics, textiles and more by some of the best creators from Berlin and the world. It also hosts regular dedicated exhibitions, and is a great place to browse for gifts, or just inspiration.

Taking a little sun and walking around Paul Linke Ufer is always a good way to spend the afternoon and recharge batteries.

Named after the movie by Godard, this restaurant with a creative cuisine in a Nouvelle Vague inspired atmosphere is ideal for an intimate dinner experience.
