I never heard about Havel until some friends and me checked out the google earth for a trip at the weekend. We went there in the german winter, oh yes...in the winter. I loved this place because is a small city island with a lake (which was frozen at that time) and with lovely houses and an old mill. I have never been there in the summer but i can imagine how wonderful would be.

While strolling around Mitte, check out the flagship store of Berlin´s cult women fashion brand. (And try a delicious cinnamon bun at Zeit für Brot next door.)

Great place for Bulgogi and the original place of a small street food success story in Berlin. 

To me, this place feels a lot like New York! 

A cute Swedish style breakfast/ cafe place owned by really nice friends, they have a cinnamon bun to coo over, its so sweet and yummy :)
