Great little chocolate shop that features sweets and cakes with a different take on chocolate. It’s part of the Summerbird chain of small chocolate shops, but this one is the “Pure” shop and is dedicated to experiment with flavours and try out new recipes before they are launched in the whole chain. Every month the shop creates a new “flødebolle”(cream bun) based on the time of year and what’s available from nature in a limited batch. I’m hooked and need to go there at least once a month.

My favourite place to hang out in this city (and a hidden gem)! The simple café and restaurant in Copenhagen’s rustic Refshaleøen is all about 'hygge'. La Banchina boasts one of the city’s best spots for sunbathing and jumping in the water from early spring to late autumn. And during winter, the wood-fired sauna gets you all set after a cold dip in the harbour.

As the summer is my favorite time of the year and that the beach is just 15 min bikeride away, I recommend Amager strand. Full of people usually though, but even so it gives a bit of an exotic touch to such a scandinavian city with the sea and the bright sand in the hot summer days.

A lovely co-working space & café, in my favourite neighbourhood in Copenhagen. The community here is warm & welcoming, and the space itself is a dream. Hardwood floors, dusted gem-tone walls, designer furniture, Depanneur coffee, and great lighting in a period building. If you're freelancing within the city for the long-term, or for the short — I'd wholly recommend having a visit.

For wine purchasing a good place is Rosforth & Rosforth. Even better is the location, under the knippelsbro bridge, very hidden. Also nice for their professionally pleasant service and knowledge. And also for the interior.
