Cinemateket is a really amazing cinema. It doesn’t show any new releases, but always has an interesting program that takes starting point in either a period in the history of film, a director, an actor/actress or another theme.

As the name implies, the Paper Island was home to a large paper warehouse for the newspaper production. Between colony gardens in Amager lies one of my favourite local spots: Baghaven. Good food and cosiness is in the forefront. Various events with and without music gather people on the square at Diamantgangen 75. A very local experience. Great for families, children, young and old.

Great little chocolate shop that features sweets and cakes with a different take on chocolate. It's part of the Summerbird chain of small chocolate shops, but this one is the "Pure" shop and is dedicated to experiment with flavours and try out new recipes before they are launched in the whole chain. Every month the shop creates a new "flødebolle"(cream bun) based on the time of year and what's available from nature in a limited batch. I'm hooked and need to go there at least once a month.

As, mentioned before, I'm a big fan of summer and the short distance to the water for a swim. Islands Brygge is situated only 5 minutes away from my studio. I often go for a dip while working. Popular amongst all the people in Copenhagen and many people barbecue and have beers during the evening there.
