Ture Andersen is a Danish photographer who works within the field of commercial and corporate photography for Danish and international companies. I work with corporate communications, branding, exhibitions and interactive media. I help companies to create an effective and consistent visual communication rooted in the companies’ visual identity and strategy. I am based in Copenhagen, Denmark, but work globally. Recent projects have included assignments in the Arctic, reportage from gemstone mining in Sri Lanka and Madagascar, ship recycling in india, coffee production in Laos, as well as gem production in Thailand. Copenhagen / Beach

As the summer is my favorite time of the year and that the beach is just 15 min bikeride away, I recommend Amager strand. Full of people usually though, but even so it gives a bit of an exotic touch to such a scandinavian city with the sea and the bright sand in the hot summer days.

Copenhagen / Cinema

Cinemateket is a really amazing cinema. It doesn’t show any new releases, but always has an interesting program that takes starting point in either a period in the history of film, a director, an actor/actress or another theme.

Copenhagen / Shop

The showroom of Copenhagen furniture brand Frama. It is based in the former St. Pauls Apotek established in 1878. Check out their website for opening hours or head to their instagram for information about pop-up dinners and other events.

Copenhagen / Creative Space

A lovely co-working space & café, in my favourite neighbourhood in Copenhagen. The community here is warm & welcoming, and the space itself is a dream. Hardwood floors, dusted gem-tone walls, designer furniture, Depanneur coffee, and great lighting in a period building. If you're freelancing within the city for the long-term, or for the short — I'd wholly recommend having a visit.

Copenhagen / Architecture

Trekroner fort is is a wonderful place, 15 minutes by boat from the city centre. The old fort is open to the public during the day, but only accessible from the water side. The current area was founded in 1786, but was not finished at the Battle of the Nest (April 2, 1801) or at the British bombardment in 1807.
