If you want to leave the city and breathe in some fresh air, just buy a “Schleswig Holstein Ticket” and go by train to Travemünde. A borough of Lübeck about 1,5 hours away from Hamburg and located next to the sea. It has been a seaside resort since 1802 and has still some architecture, signs and symbols from the 19th century to show.

Planten un Blomen, it's a beautiful botanical garden in Hamburg, Mitte. Lot of spots where to sit and watching quietly the nature as well as a lot of path to walk. The Japanese garden is a place must to see as well as the Glass House of the tropical pants.
