I am an actress and musician raised & based in North west London. I have studied dance at City of Westminster college and performed at the Cockpit Theatre and acting at the Actor Centre, RADA and IDSA. My favourite Film Director is John casasavettes and my favourite character of all time is Micky Mouse. Great little independent bookshop in central London run by Tamsin Clark. Weird and wonderful selection of photo books, magazines, artist books, poetry and more.

I couldn't decide which coffee shop to feature so here's the first, Store Street Espresso. It's right round the corner from work and a great place to chill out at lunch time and get that kick for the afternoon. Compared with the other independent coffee shops in the area (Wild & Wood/Lantana/Tapped & Packed) the interior's minimal and light which is great. Anyway coffee's really good and so is the food.

If they only could mend me like they mend my shoes. A three generation family business with its origin on Cyprus via Fifth Avenue, New York. They can do magic. I have been going there since I moved to London 12 years ago. One day soon I am going to have them make me a brand new pair of brogues. I will design the holes.

A very charming little shop with an amazing selection of spices, herbs and grains all stored in glass jars NO PLASTIC! :) You can also buy just the jars if you want to, they are really nice too. Finally a zero waste grocery store in the area. Thank you Charles!!
