I was born in the mid 1980's and grow up in London. From always having a fascination with mechanical objects and relentlessly playing with lego as a child becoming a still life photographer seemed like a natural progression. There is something enormously rewarding about creating exactly whats in your head.
I try and make my images on first glance look completely perfect but on closer inspection its revealed there are many imperfections, if you look closer at the 'Wrapping Paper Series' you can see all the joins and creases. I think this makes it look and feel like a photograph and not CGI.
Gi Myao is a painter and illustrator living in London. Central Saint Martins fashion design graduate, she worked as a fashion designer, print designer and sometimes brand consultant, until she decided to focus on fashion and style illustration working extensively for international magazines and fashion houses. Gi is now a proud working-mum. She launched babies and kids online concept shop, Rocket Shop London in 2016.
Jamain Gordon was born in 1995, in Georgetown, Guyana, where he lived until he was 11. Then moved to London and started school here where he studied Arts and Design plus photography. After college he decided to move on to university to study BA (Hons) Photography at University for the Creative Arts, and for his most recent project was a book publication. He now workｓ as a freelance photographer.
