The Thai food scene in London is in an incredible place right now, with the likes of The Smoking Goat, Som Saa, The Begging Bowl and Farang all offering an experimental and delicious take on the cuisine. I'm focusing on the later a) because it's my local and b) because it's helmed by Seb Holmes, who's also cheffed at those others mentioned, and has managed to bring the best of all of them to Farang. Oh and c) the Gai Prik is probably the tastiest dish in London

This may not be much of a secret but deserves a mention. I find it hard to go anywhere near this place without having to go there. Freshly baked Beigels hot salt beef and it never closes, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

SOAS university has a small gallery space dedicated to exhibitions about Asia, Africa and the Middle East. There's a small but beautiful Japanese zen garden on the rooftop (currently closed for refurbishment)

You might think the Tate Britain is the less interesting of the two London outposts: full of crusty oil paintings and pensioners on day-trips, but you’d be wrong. Not only is the building a delicious warren of interconnecting rooms, each more beautiful than the last, but it also houses a collection of pre-Raphelite works that has me in tears of awe every time I swing by.

I’m not sure what I like best about this deli: the speck which was so good that I ‘accidentally’ ate the whole package of it before I got home, or the fact the staff are always so friendly even when I ask for my order in my terribly rusty Italian.
