The best live jazz band I ever heard was at a packed out night in Brilliant Corners. I was happy to be squashed.

If you like cocktails and pink neon lights, Tonight’s Josephine is definetly a perfect spot to spend your night! 

The best place for a glass of wine*. It's the perfect balance – not too formal, not too informal either. Food is consistently good. Lamb's Conduit Street is a little oasis in the midst of Bloomsbury. (*slightly overpriced)

It's a members-only library but you might be granted access with a research request. The writer's room is great but there's a few special, hidden corners among the bookshelves to tuck yourself away in.

There's something so quintessentially London about this hill. The network of paths and lines of lampposts leading you up to a view of the city that's at your fingertips.
