I couldn't decide which coffee shop to feature so here's the first, Store Street Espresso. It's right round the corner from work and a great place to chill out at lunch time and get that kick for the afternoon. Compared with the other independent coffee shops in the area (Wild & Wood/Lantana/Tapped & Packed) the interior's minimal and light which is great. Anyway coffee's really good and so is the food.

A residential estate that once housed 40,000 people which has now become an abandoned ghost town. Minutes away from Elephant & Castle, is an unexpected dystopian treat.

The Royal Park offers great views of London and the city; As well as housing the Royal Observatory which includes a museum of astronomical and navigational tools, part of the National Maritime Museum.

On Burlington Gardens in Mayfair, Cecconi’s is a modern-day classic Italian restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Great place to work and even better coffee. The roastery at the ground floor gives off a nice scent that fills the whole space. Sit near the bar at the kitchen area and look at all the delicious stuff the chefs whip up - and try their V60!
