Flowers lovers! Orto Botanico di Brera is an hidden treasure right in the center of Brera and near by Pinacoteca. The garden is a university and museum, there they organize events and activities for the public and schools. It has an amazing collection of flowers and medicinal plants, plus little corners where you can stop by and enjoy the silence for a bit.

Originating from the convergence of visionary founding partners Carhartt WIP and Slam Jam, Spazio Maiocchi is a cross-disciplinary ideas aggregator, house to the studios and exhibition spaces of KALEIDOSCOPE, one of Milan’s most widely recognized enterprises for contemporary art.

Vintage lovers! The Planetarium of Milan, Civico Planetario "Ulrico Hoepli", is a building located at the entrance of Giardini di Porta Venezia. It's a beautiful structure designed by Piero Portaluppi and commissioned by the Italian-Swiss publisher Ulrico Hoepli. Also the interior design is beautiful, there you can find a planetarium which projects and represents the image of the stars and their movements in the sky. The Planetarium also has a library which is a section of the Museum of Natural History, near by. They also organize educational activity concerning astronomy as talks, events and even concerts.

For paper lovers! One of my fav place in the city is this little cozy place, just 35 square meters all covered by magazines. Basically, you are in heaven. As they say: “Reading Room wants to be a meeting place for fans, collectors, professionals and all those who, intrigued, decide to come in to browse a magazine. A space in Milan dedicated to the dissemination, understanding and appreciation of magazines.” There you can find magazines about: photography, art, fashion, design, music; more than 200 international titles carefully selected. Reading Room stems from the desire to give voice and visibility to a phenomenon that in recent years, through visionary editorial projects, is redefining the publishing system and the sense of the printed paper at the time of the internet. Enrico Magistro, born in 1980, is the owner of Quadro together with his sister Elena. He studied Marketing and Graphic Design in Milan and London and has always worked in the plumbing market since her first steps in her father's company. In addition to brand management and communication, she deals with products and collaborates with designers to create increasingly solid and aesthetically functional collections.

Bianca Felicori is a PhD candidate at UCLouvain with a research Fellow (ASP - Aspirant) fellowship of the Fund for Scientific Research-FNRS. Together with Professor Beatrice Lampariello she carries out her research with the aim of demonstrating the confluence of artistic and architectural experimentation born in Europe and America between the 1960s and 1970s. She graduated at the Politecnico di Milano with a thesis on history of architecture dedicated to the intersection of architectural and artistic thought between 1965 and 1976, a topic read in relation to the publications of the critic Germano Celant in the magazine “Casabella”. She has curated exhibitions and cultural programs collaborating with institutions such as Triennale (Milano, Italy) and she wrote for magazines such as “Domus” and “AD”. She recently published the book Forgotten Architecture (Nero Editions 2022).

Alessandro Furchino Capria (Turin, 1982) has developed a refined eye for photography along with solid lighting and composition skills make up for a photography permeated with essential, pure, classically combined, and intimate references that merge into his natural signature style, finding beauty in capturing harmony and balance in proportions. Light and accurate color balance are the main components in all of his works. Alessandro’s work has been displayed in globally relevant exhibitions such as the New York Photo Festival - Photoworld and at La Triennale di Milano and his work has been published on renowned international magazines.
