Aaron Graubart is an award winning still life and food photographer based in New York City. Born and raised in London, Aaron studied painting at the Sir John Cass School of Art and later photography at the London College of Communication. He has been creating beautiful, graphic, powerful images for advertising and editorial clients for more than a decade. A passion for the history and language of painting often informs and influences his work, however a love for all things contemporary, graphic, powerful and photographic keeps his work firmly rooted in the present. Aaron lives in Brooklyn with his 14 guitars, two blue bicycles and his beloved 1972 Triumph Bonneville.

Nearly every dance company has filtered through the theater and with a season that lasts about 45 weeks, there's always a performance to see and tickets are very reasonably priced. I love stopping in and getting a gourmet grilled cheese from Lucy's Whey or a healthy juice from raw food restaurant One Lucky Duck, while shopping for dinner ingredients at the Italian market Buon Italia. For a great sit down restaurant, I love The Green Table, which serves great farm to table food.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Manhattan, it's Spanish Tapas but like you never had it before. You can literally order any dish from the menu, everything is amazing. Tip, it tends to get busy - so head in and sign up for a table, then go around the corner to their bar Jamón only challenge is that you might stay there all night.

Growing up I’d go to Staten Island a lot due to how close it was to my hometown. It wasn’t until I went back as an adult that I realized the uniqueness of this place, the outdated but also artistically beautiful aesthetic of the island, and appreciated it more. Plus the food (lots of diners and Italian food) is great and people watching is also pretty interesting.
