One of the best curated visual art books in New York and the World, with a bent towards a crossover of music/art/psychedelics. A place to feed the art habit, remembering that the greatest images are still locked in books and not online.

Long afternoon naps rarely happen here, sadly. But I never stop fantasizing.

Serves as a special outdoor photoshoot-location! Great "natural" backdrop and good to have a walk around in the area as well!

Mekelburg's is equal parts hipster bodega, bar and sandwich haven. I always go for the cheese counter, the babka and the late night fried chicken sandwich, which is hands down one of the best I've had in NY.
