Coming back from from New Haven, we got off at Grand Central and he took me down one of the concourses to the place with the vaulted ceiling. He stood at one corner and I stood at another and we whispered into the walls, our voices drifting across to each other.

I've seen so many great classic movies on film here. Being able to have that experience is one of the things that I feel lucky living in this city.

Great mid-eastern food in Chelsea/Flatiron/NoMad/whatever you call that area.

This is another neighborhood favorite, especially for Sunday brunch which is consistently great.

The beauty of the light on the water, with a full view of the changing skyline, always awe inspiring.
