Warm winter holiday vibes all year long, especially during the holidays. A hint of the old NYC where one could be a functioning alcoholic by day and artist by night. Proper characters here, the lore is deep.

If I lived closer to the West Village I’d go over to Jack’s every morning for a coffee and occasionally having what is probably the best chocolate chip cookie in New York (and it’s just a dollar!). Even though it’s rarely in my way I try to go here now and then, maybe in combination with a stroll down the beautiful Bleeker Street or to read a book sitting in their window.

Being on the ground floor of the building I work in, this Japanese outpost serves as my everything store. I appreciate their minimalist aesthetic coupled with their modest pricing.

The Office NYC showcases a deep spirits collection; pre-Prohibition style cocktails; signature offerings and “Dealer’s Choice,” where bartenders create a tailored drink based on patron’s preferences, ranging from citrus or herbal tones and favorite seasons to their favorite movie characters, destinations and more. (It also has an awesome icecream sundae)
