My favorite neighborhood fancy chinese spot. Quality soup dumplings (it's obligatory to get an order). Mock eel (mushrooms), ants climbing a tree (noodles), salt & pepper fry (fresh daily), and mu shu duck are some of the go-tos. It's spicy and filling—worth a night of feasting. 

This is another neighborhood favorite, especially for Sunday brunch which is consistently great.

Daytime café, nighttime bar. Nothing stronger than 30-proof. Delicious beer and really good wine. Kind people run & staff the place. The garden in the Summer is perfect. I make near-daily visits.

What's not to like with a place that has a Sandwich named after Jonah Hill and hand-drawn signs in the window?

I could include a separate location for every room at the Met. Each visit is a year's worth of Art-absorbing.
