Hannekes Boom is one of the nicest waterfront café in Amsterdam to have a beer when it's sunny. Close to Central Station, the place isn't crowded by tourists, but you need to be there early to get a seat.
The NewWerktheater is a café-restaurant venue located in Oostelijke Eilanden. Everything has been carefully selected/designed/created by ...,staat, the design studio behind the concept. The coffee beans are from Bonanza Berlin, the beer is made by Noam, and can only be found here in the Netherlands and the artworks are made by designer/artist Eike König. The location also regularly host creative events like the Dutch Art Director Club conferences, photography exhibitions or Creative Mornings.

Martin Hultén is a photographer and artist. He is mainly known for his tender and quirky depictions of people in his native Sweden - his past works include a series of portraits of men looking into the camera while simultaneously being caressed on the cheek, as well as several different projects looking at mans relation with nature, and videos exploring the border between still and motion.
He is currently working with the upcoming book Doggerland, where he has taken a look at how dreams and desires are related to social structures and rituals in post-capitalist Sweden.
Madeleine Lithvall is a Stockholm based illustrator and the creative director of M Lithvall; a multi-disciplinary creative agency specialising in the fashion, lifestyle and beauty sectors. With a theoretical and practical background from London, Sydney and Stockholm, she has a comprehensive understanding for the industry. Her work is characterised by humor, craftsmanship and an uncompromising focus on sustainability.
I moved to Stockholm about one year ago when I started studying Visual Communication at Beckmans College of Design. After living in super friendly Malmö for three years I feared it would be hard to settle in. It wasn't. Starting in a new school is probably the best way of getting to know people. Especially when it is a small and intense one like Beckmans.
