I basically lived at this place when I lived in Tokyo. This was also the first place I ever performed. Good food, nice shows and a great mixture of locals and international people.
Omiya Pastry Shop is an open self-service shop, with an atmosphere of unique and elegant calm, reasonable prices, and a basic flavor. The space and the taste is satisfactory on every count. The interior gives me the feeling that I've gone back in time to Japan's Showa period.
In Inokashira Park Zoo is the oldest female elephant in Japan, her name is Hanako. She became 64 years old in January 2011. She came from Thailand in 1949 and became popular. We all wish her long life. However, there was a tragedy that Hanako accidentally stepped over the staff working there and killed him. She was called “murderer” at that time.
This bar is located in the residential area of Kyodo. It opens Monday to Saturday. People come after work, they start to chat naturally with the owner and other customers. Drinks are always excellent but also the food is marvelous.
Daikanyama is a fashionable town which attracts young people. There are many stylish cafes. Coconara, a cafe & dining, is the place where they can enjoy art while they are eating and drinking. In the shop, there are tables which various artists have decorated. Artworks of the featured artist are displayed on the walls. You can see my work in this photograph.
