Kw is a great art institute situated at the backyard of a very eastern part of town, place for many other small galleries. Auguststrasse is worth the walk and Kw is worth the stop.

Cinema with original fifties interior, close to Hermann Platz. Like all cinemas from the York Cinema Group in Berlin, it features a diverse program of independent movies (mostly original versions with German subtitles).

Beautiful atellier-stores around weserstrasse, this is from a very nice girl that make "sculpure hats" as she said. Excellent record store across the street also.

The Zoo and the Aquarium is on the things that never changed during the years. Everytime I visit it looks exactly the way when I first went when I was a little child. This place gives me a lot of inspiration, I like the way they want to make the cage enviroment look natural with artificiel light.

Located in a vintage ballroom, Clärchens Ballhaus is a nice lunch destination. Try the "Käsespätzle" with applesauce!
