I never heard about Havel until some friends and me checked out the google earth for a trip at the weekend. We went there in the german winter, oh yes...in the winter. I loved this place because is a small city island with a lake (which was frozen at that time) and with lovely houses and an old mill. I have never been there in the summer but i can imagine how wonderful would be.

It is a fine dessert dining. Unique full-on experience with dessert (no industrial sugar is used) course menu and pairing drinks. No wonder they have got a Michelin star!

Taking a little sun and walking around Paul Linke Ufer is always a good way to spend the afternoon and recharge batteries.

It's a small bookshop to be stuck forever. Here you can find the most beautiful collection of art/photography/architecture/fashion/food books and magazines, not to count it's just a walk distance to diverse galleries around the neighborhood.

While strolling around Mitte, check out the flagship store of Berlin´s cult women fashion brand. (And try a delicious cinnamon bun at Zeit für Brot next door.)
