La Banchina (The Pier) is my favourite cafe in Copenhagen, located beautiful on Refshaeløen, facing Copenhagen harbour, this place offer great coffee, homemade baked goods . For lunch and dinner La Banchina offers season’s best organic and/or biodynamic vegetables and seafood. (small dishes) No meat served. excellent natural wine.    Photo: © Ture Andersen

This is one of the places in Copenhagen that I know will do the job if I need some inspiration. The museums’ collections spans from over seven centuries, from early renaissance to current art. Especially the modern collection with its paintings, installations and performance art kickstart the old imagination.  Not only is the collection great, the architecture of the museum is equally beautiful. The old part is a classic museum-building, just as you would expect, but the newer addition is connected by floor to ceiling glass, doing a great job in separating the collections (classic and modern) as it physically changes the context.

A. Petersen is a hidden gem near 'Kløvermarken' in Copenhagen. This place is outstanding, beautiful and very inspiring if you are looking for danish furniture design as well as contemporary art. Definitely worth a visit. A Kilometer stone (circa 1925) stands directly outside Nørreport station, in Copenhagen K. It's easy to pass by, but definitely worth noting if you're in the area — The typographic work on it is incredible.
