DOMENICO DE CHIRICO: ITALY, INDEPENDENT CURATOR. Domenico de Chirico is an independent curator from Italy. Born in Bari in 1983, he lives and works in Milan. From 2011 until 2015 he was a professor in "Visual Culture" and "Trend Research" at Milan’s European Institute of Design (IED). He collaborates with a number of international artists, galleries, institutions, art fairs, art prizes, and magazines worldwide. He has been artistic director at DAMA Fair, Turin since 2016. He was also a visiting tutor at Goldsmiths, University of London (2018). Upcoming exhibitions and researches (2019/20): Accademia di belle arti di Urbino, academy of fine arts located in Urbino, Marche, Italy (guest lecturer); Bienvenue Art Fair, Paris (prize jury member); Fotopub Festival, Novo Mesto, Slovenia (guest lecturer). Founder and Managing Partner of Carrie Scott & Partners, Carrie Scott has been a curator, Art Historian and arts writer since 2004. She has developed Modern and Contemporary collections in Europe and the United States, working with numerous businesses, executives and collectors to help them establish, manage, and maintain both corporate and personal art collections. Since early 2010, Scott has also worked side-by-side with visionary fashion photographer Nick Knight to curate his archive as well as curate exhibitions at the SHOWstudio Shop, a gallery that exhibited high profile contemporary artists like Douglas Gordon, Raymond Pettibon, Keith Tyson, Terrence Ko, and Anj Smith, alongside the work of dynamic younger artists like Tim A. Shaw, Courtney Andrews, Charlotte Kingsnorth, and Walter & Zoniel.   The SHOWstudio gallery is now globally recognised as having been a pioneering, ground-breaking platform that nurtured and encouraged creativity by combining the different art forms together in one space.  Before starting Carrie Scott & Partners in 2009, Scott was Director of Nicole Klagsburn Gallery, New York, where she worked closely with artists such as Beth Campbell, Matthew Day Jackson, Rashid Johnson, Mika Rottenberg, Adam McEwen, and Storm Tharp. Prior to that, she was noted curator of the Hedreen Gallery at Seattle University's Lee Center, and Director of the James Harris Gallery also in Seattle, Washington. In 2017, Scott appeared as a presenter on The Art Show, an entirely new art series that richly captures the artists of our lifetime that have inspired collectors and art lovers alike.

Hi, my name is Morgane Vantorre and I am in love with letters in every shape and form. Passionate about the materiality of our written language and what its forms convey beyond its meaning, I am a French freelance multitasker whose Type Design is at the heart of everything I do.  ⁂ I would define myself first as a type designer working for foundries, agencies or for myself. From conception, to development to completion, I enjoy creating and producing typefaces or lettering, but I also offer art direction, editing and graphic design services.  I am also a recent editor for Monotype, for whom I write articles on French typography and graphic design news, and a typography teacher in a Parisian art school where I transmit my passion to young bachelor students. Then, I like to experiment, during my free time, with letterforms through different techniques and materials such as calligraphy, stone carving and embroidery.
