I am an illustrator, living in Essex with my partner and our one year old son. I studied Drawing at Camberwell College of Art, graduating in 2006. After college I continued to live and work in London for several years. I still regularly visit to shop, see friends and exhibitions. London will forever be an important part of who I am.

London / Art Centre

I worked at the Barbican for several years and during that time became very fond of its architecture. One of my favourite spaces within the centre is the conservatory, a giant tropical garden in the middle of a concrete city.

The best thing about any charity shop is that you never know what you are going to find. I have a well tested route around London that includes all of my favourite charity shops. This Oxfam has a great selection of books and often turns up some interesting clothes too.

I spent a lot of time in the British Museum whilst studying for my Degree. My work has changed considerably since then but it is still a place I return to again and again. Inspiration doesn't always come from objects in the collection but also from the space and its visitors.

I am definitely not precious about the materials I use to make my work, but every so often I find myself in need of something more specialised. L.Cornelissen & Son is a beautiful and well stocked art supply shop with extremely knowledgable staff.

Since graduating in photography from Falmouth in 2009 Toby has lived in London working for clients such as Channel Four the Guardian and the Photographers Gallery. His work has been included in awards such as the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, The AOP and Magenta Awards. Toby was recently selected as one of the LPA Futures and is now Represented by Lisa Pritchard Agency.

Mathushaa Sagthidas is a London based freelance photographer, stylist, set designer and art director (studied at Camberwell College of Arts, UAL) with interest in fine art and contemporary fashion. Mathushaa’s work often examines her identity - Tamil Eelam ethnicity and British nationality, which is reflected through traditions, history and fashion photography. Identity, authenticity and representation are important to her because of her parents’ upbringing and experiences during the Sri Lankan civil war, which took place from 1983 until now. The history of the war, their own personal suffering and experience led Mathushaa to learn and embrace her ethnic culture, traditions and heritage more and more. Her photography work spans a range of brands including Amazon, Wolf & Badger, Fashion United, Deezer and Bloomsbury; publications such as Creative Lives, Glass Magazine, The Photographer's Gallery, gal-dem, Hypebae, Fashion Minority Report, THIIIRD Magazine, Campaign Live, Dishoom, It's Nice That, The British Library and Graduate Fashion Week and exhibitions such as Tate Britain, PhotoFusion, BBH London, Lake Gallery, Camberwell Space Gallery, Rankin x Maryland Studio, including billboards across the UK and a solo show with Bow Arts.
