This is one of my favourite parks in London. It’s lovely to walk around it’s like a forest in parts … and there is a lovely Kyoto Japanese garden… and beautiful flowers everywhere! I definitely give it 5/5!

I am an actress and musician raised & based in North west London. I have studied dance at City of Westminster college and performed at the Cockpit Theatre and acting at the Actor Centre, RADA and IDSA. My favourite Film Director is John casasavettes and my favourite character of all time is Micky Mouse. London / Park

Half a mile from Markfield Park down the River Lee is Springfield Park. The park rises steeply up from the river and has an amazing array of tree species making it beautiful in all seasons. At the brim of the hill there is a line of park benches each one surrounded by box hedge offering a private view across the Lee Valley, Walthamstow and beyond. The park warden was nice enough to give me a chestnut log a couple of years ago from which I carved a bench and two stools.

Since The Columbo Group took over The Jazz Cafe, it's become the best programmed venue in the city, focusing on jazz, soul, funk, disco and afrobeat.

Choosing Keeping has a collection of rare, beautiful European, American and Japanese stationery. A stationery haven.

I love the George and Dragon Public House. Cluttered deco of silly artifacts and memorabilia and slightly scuzzy around the edges. Great drinking characters, DJs and The White Cubicle gallery in the ladies toilets is difficult to beat.

London / Cafe

A great place to start the day if you are in South London is Federation Coffee in Brixton Village. The food is great and so is the coffee. This is a very chilled place where you can get both and indoor and outdoor experience (even though the whole place is under the Village roof).
