Though the city is amazing with a lot to offer, of course it’s great to have your own hideaway. My room is essentially my studio/desk space too and the hub of my creative activities.

Jocelyn (b. 1988) is a photography graduate from Worcestershire, England. She started taking photographs at a young age, making a photobook aged seven. She regained her passion for taking pictures during high school and after completing a BTEC in Photography she graduated in June 2010 from a BA in Photographic Art at the University of Wales, Newport.  She currently lives and works in London, working on various projects and preferring to shoot in medium format.

South London is largely underrated considering at times it's a treasure chest of gems; Battersea Park is one of those big sparkly ones. An interesting mix of faultlessly pruned gardens, displaced architecture, shape, form and colour generate a delightfully influential weekend stroll. With views of the almighty Battersea Power Station and the river dividing you from the Chelsea Embankment.
