I love the George and Dragon Public House. Cluttered deco of silly artifacts and memorabilia and slightly scuzzy around the edges. Great drinking characters, DJs and The White Cubicle gallery in the ladies toilets is difficult to beat.

Julie Verhoeven is an artist and designer based in London. After studying fashion she began her career assisting John Galliano before working in the fashion industry as a designer, illustrator, creative director and tutor. Verhoeven’s own fashion label, Gibo by Julie Verhoeven, was launched in September 2002, and she went on to collaborate with global brands including, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Mulberry and H&M. Verhoeven has exhibited internationally since 2003, including solo shows at MU, Eindhoven, ZINGERpresents, Amsterdam, and Vera Gliem, Cologne with the publication of 3 books dedicated to her work, ‘A Bit of Rough’, ‘Fat- Bottomed Girls’ and ‘Julie Verhoeven, Gas Book 13’. Designed by Wells Coates, the Isokon Building opened in 1934 and was the first apartment block to be built using reinforced concrete. The Isokon Gallery is open at weekends telling the story of the Isokon building, the pioneering modern apartment block as an experiment in new ways of urban living.

There are many quirky book stores in London, but I really love the selection that Daunt Books have, they often have bespoke editions which you won't find in other book stores. Also, the people that work there are so helpful and knowledgable. I can never stop myself from walking in!

The Lambeth Walk is not as billed in the song. Quite a bleak but somehow beautiful mishmash of architectural accident–or–design; a legacy of stray WWII bombs intended for more auspicious near-at-hand targets, such as the Houses of Parliament. I study sculpture here each Monday; a lovely workshop inside. The exterior features one of only a few examples of an outside pulpit, apparently for the minister to take his message direct to the shoppers, in the Walk's heyday.

Brilliant Corners...Great sound system, vinyl only, dancing, left field, fourth world, jazz, afro, and some refreshing cocktails to help with all the sweating. Probably the only place i will actually dance in. They also do amazing Japanese food earlier in the evening.

My favourite library when I was a student, I still love to wander and look up to its Renaissance sculptures.
