Turkish food meets Heavy Metal. Lee Tiernan's (ex St John Bread & Wine Head Chef) experimental take on Turkish cuisine. Flatbreads, offal, squid ink, cod roe & foie gras doughnuts. Expect the unexpected.

Ever since discovering this area around 6 years ago I still find it a nice area to go for a walk. Beginning at Paddington Basin with a mix of modern architecture which is fantastic to wonder around. Following the canal you go past a few restaurants and underneath a section of the A40 Westway before arriving at Little Venice and beyond.

Slightly biased as this is where I live, but Stoke Newington is great place to spend lazy saturday / sunday afternoons getting sloshed with friends. There are 10 + pubs within walking distance who all are great places for one reason or another. I'll pick out the White Hart for its huge beer garden...

Long standing late night cafe  

This independent cinema near Angel in North London is over 100 years old and has had several lives including hosting early Sex Pistol gigs. It now serves as my favourite place to watch films (along with the Rio in Dalson).
