Dover Street is the true creative hub of Mayfair and a breath of fresh air driving straight through an area often perceived as stuffy. Lovely space in Southbank. Interesting events and exhibitions. I really like the surroundings as well, especially during sunny days. Walk around and then have a rest drinking facing the river.

Think this may be the oldest music venue in London? If it isn't, it certainly feels like it. I love the fact that you can feel the musical history as soon as you walk into 100 Club. Given it's central positioning I'm sure a lot of people of holding their breaths that it continues to stick around

I love the architecture of the Barbican - it is so important to its historical context, at a time when London was being shaped for modernity after the war - they also aspired to make it a bold art centre. We need bold, always.
