London has great green spaces. There are large royal parks and small public gardens, hidden allotments and roof terraces. Each one has its own identity and characteristics and everyone has their favourite. In summer they become extensions of people homes, you see girls sunbathing from 9 am and the endless picnics mean you can eat 3 meals a day in the park. My favourites - St James Piccadilly Gardens, Hyde Park, Barbican Conservatory.

The nicest little shop for ceramics and glassware. The selection is lovingly curated by the shop's owner Momoko Mizutani who has impeccable taste.

Need some clean air or just a time-out? Kew Gardens is a short train ride away from the city centre but is provides you with space, greenery and and a small holiday for the lungs. The garden contain tropical glasshouses and interesting architecture, so it is a treat for both body and mind.

Dover Street is the true creative hub of Mayfair and a breath of fresh air driving straight through an area often perceived as stuffy. Landmarks such as the wonderful Dover Street Market (don't forget to sample the fresh carrot cake at Rose Bakery on its 4th floor) on very effectively pull creative people towards the area which equates to plenty of street style to appreciate.
