I love living in cities with a river and the Thames is so wide! It is one of my favorite things about London.

Valeria is a photographer from Sardinia (Italy), graduated in Industrial Design currently attending her MA in Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion. She lived for four years in Rome and loved it, five months in Edinburgh and disliked it, since May in London and in love with the city. She is constantly inspired by her surroundings, lights, new places, dreams, people, her homeland, her past and present. She loves more aesthetic than conceptual, female body and analogue cameras. Fashion Photography is her way to sum up all these beautiful things.

London / Shop

Cordings situated in piccadilly is a renowned establishment for British Country clothing and tailoring - that can not only kit you out to shoot pheasant in the finest yellow ochre cords but for me offers a great selection of socks.

London / Place

One of the main sources of inspiration for my work are unusual objects, vintage toys and tools. A great place to find them is this genuine car boot sale, which is clear of 'bargain' toilet paper and questionable cosmetics. Another plus are the comparatively sociable opening hours. (it starts at noon… )

London / Park

This is an amazing place for the summer when the water gets pretty warm or the winter if you are very brave. The only downside is that it can get very crowded in the Mixed pool but the men’s pool is normally quiet and it has a diving board.

London / Cafe

Relaxed with character. Tiny garden at the back overlooked by Waterloo train station. Not sure if mother cat still lives there. Nice to go with friends or alone. Books. Good for a coffee and cake or a bottle of beer. Spiral staircase down to basement. One loo serves the place - tip - lock the door, don't just rely on the curtain and save an awkward encounter. Wood-fired, Neapolitan style sourdough pizza in South London: soft, airy, slightly chewy and very light thanks to the extra-long dough maturation. Family friendly small venue walking distance to the Horniman Museum.
