For the first time in Manhattan we lived on 14th street – this nice and cozy café around the corner (on 16th) still is our favorite place for delicious breakfast or brunch... Think they have tons of meals on their menu, quite affordable for huge portions.. Plus, good music.

My favorite neighborhood fancy chinese spot. Quality soup dumplings (it's obligatory to get an order). Mock eel (mushrooms), ants climbing a tree (noodles), salt & pepper fry (fresh daily), and mu shu duck are some of the go-tos. It's spicy and filling—worth a night of feasting. 

It's the smallest espresso bar making the best espresso drinks in Manhattan.

The best selection of photography books...From novelties to rare out of prints. They are also publishers and organize books signing with photographers such as Juergen Teller or Taryn Simon.

Consistently superb wlbrg staple. Good for coffee, lunch and lavish dinners.
