Helga Traxler, born 1984 in Austria, also known as Photosalonhelga – is a Freelance-Photographer with a Masters Degree in Visual Communications. A new-ish cinema located in the East Broadway section of Chinatown. They play a great selection of rare and vintage titles, plus hosting a considerable amount of director/cast Q&As post showing. People complain about their seats, but they're really not that bad. And yes, they have overpriced fancy snacks, but what theater has cheap snacks?! Go to Mission Chinese, Dimes, or Fat Raddish for dinner—all options around the corner.

New York / Bridge

Always in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge, is the most direct route for a bike ride into the city from my place. This is a kind of alcove and lookout point that also reminds me I’m about to reach the top of the climb. I guess I kind of like the series of light bulbs and ornate rivets and metal work, the kinds things you really don’t see from a distance.
