Helga Traxler, born 1984 in Austria, also known as Photosalonhelga – is a Freelance-Photographer with a Masters Degree in Visual Communications. Helga has worked with clients such as: New York Times T-Magazine, New York Magazine - The Cut, Ryan McGinley Studios, Rauschenberg Foundation, Walter Schupfer Management, Mac Cosmetics, Sweden Unlimited, Bullett Media, Conrad Rosett, Mango, Ebay, Allianz, amm. Through the experimentation with the medium she is blurring the boundaries between fashion and art. This place has one of the hottest rooms I've ever been in. The combination of barely being able to breathe from the heat to immediately jumping into a freezing murky pool is addictive. There's also a great roof patio for a change of scenery. A good old school New York spot.

A street party/DJ sound system built out of a shipping container. A little slab of hungover berlin/pregaming Berlin in Brooklyn. Whomever the great DJs in town are you will find them playing a low-key set here for a crowd of less than 50 people. Sunset is magic as there's a straight shot through to Manhattan and the light is perfection.

This is a tiny street with a lot of character and can be often missed. I love the little brick houses and coloring of the street.

This botanical garden is massive. If you like to be surrounded by foliage, bring a picnic on a nice day.

Fav art bookstore in the city (and the world?). Great place for inspiration and reference art, both new and vintage finds. Not very cheap but mostly quite worth it.
