One of my favorite place to eat when there is nothing in the fridge. It may look like a traditional french bistro, but the food is anything but. The chef Kaori Endo is serving Franco-Japanese little plates for lunch and big plate to share with friends during the diner. There is also many lovely natural wines and I strongly recommend that "Lou Cantoun" glass of natural white wine !

One item you can’t miss is their signature Super Sandwich, the “Big-Pletzel,”. La Villa Rose is an elegant and beautiful private town house in Paris with a gallery and many events as cocktails, presentations, showrooms, dinners. I love the decorative identity combining artistic contributions, a collection of design objects and rare pieces of furniture to be discovered throughout the year.

This little charming hotel is quirky yet elegant and mixes bespoke furniture with graphic prints. The owner Yoan Marciano is a friend of mine and work hard to keep this special atmosphere where you feel like at sweet home

I love this excellent independent arthouse theater in the Lower East side. Metrograph projects archive quality 35mm and independent films. Tastefully decorated, there is also a candy store, bookstore and restaurant.

My favorite coffee ever in NYC ! The first place I went when I lived in Brooklyn. The music is perfect, food is excellent. Definitely the perfect spot to read a book on sunday morning and a good work place for freelancers.

Economy Candy is an old-fashioned family owned candy store in the Lower east side. With glorious aisle after aisle of candy stocked as high as the eye can see including innumerable brands you never knew were still in production – its a treat for the eyes as well as the belly. Every time I get inside I'm looking for Willy Wonka.
