Sarah Meyohas (b. 1991, French American) uses networks of information, power, value, and communication. Meyohas has had solo exhibitions at Independent Régence in Brussels, Galerie Pact in Paris, and 303 in New York. Her work has been included in shows at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, The Aperture Foundation in New York, Regen Projects in Los Angeles. In 2015, she invented BitchCoin, her personal cryptocurrency. Her current show is on view at Red Bull Arts in New York. Meyohas holds a B.A. in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in finance from the Wharton School, and in 2015 received an M.F.A. from Yale University. She is based in New York and runs an eponymously named gallery, Meyohas, in Long Island City.

I love this excellent independent arthouse theater in the Lower East side. Metrograph projects archive quality 35mm and independent films. Tastefully decorated, there is also a candy store, bookstore and restaurant.

1st Thursday of every Month from 6-9PM, I like to visit New York Art Center curated by Shane Townley, founder & director of the center and NYA Gallery. This is creative art public space in Tribeca where you can meet established, emerging artists, curators from all over the World and a nice and professional team of NYA Gallery and Gallery 104 - Lucy McCarron, Tony Huffman, Estefania Ochoa, and others - and introduce yourself to them. My solo exhibition New Tech Girls - Bikini Issue will open to the public on Thursday, July 4th with a reception the following week on Wednesday, July 10th from 6-9pm. The show will remain on view until Sunday, July 21st. You might notice people waiting around a nondescript door inside the restaurant; this is actually the entrance to the speakeasy bar Angel’s Share.
