For the first time in Manhattan we lived on 14th street – this nice and cozy café around the corner (on 16th) still is our favorite place for delicious breakfast or brunch… Think they have tons of meals on their menu, quite affordable for huge portions.. Plus, good music.

I’m Verena Michelitsch, an independent designer and art director from Austria by way of New York City. I specialize in conceptualizing and creating unique visual expressions, spanning graphic design, art direction, illustration, pattern, editorial, and digital design. I’ve had the pleasure to work with an array of international studios and clients, including Apple, Nasa/JPL, Facebook, Red Bull, The Smithsonian and Opening Ceremony. My exhibition from Dec1 2017- Feb1 2018. gallery space on the picture. Usagi NY is secret cool creative place in Dumbo area. The space is designed by Sou Fujimoto. You can find rare archtecture book from Japan and Moma Book store. There are nice Japanese design products that difficult to find in NY. Its great for gift, or special object for your home. My recommendation is Matcha latte (usagi have very hi-quarity real Japanes Matcha from Ippodo Kyoto) -

Amazingly warm balearic vibes on the main floor with a classic, dark and minimal NYC club in the basement, Balearica is run by a team of music obsessed Irish friends who bring nothing but love to North Williamsburg. The music is always on point and the energy is inclusive and uplifting.

New York / Art Centre

1st Thursday of every Month from 6-9PM, I like to visit New York Art Center curated by Shane Townley, founder & director of the center and NYA Gallery. This is creative art public space in Tribeca where you can meet established, emerging artists, curators from all over the World and a nice and professional team of NYA Gallery and Gallery 104 - Lucy McCarron, Tony Huffman, Estefania Ochoa, and others - and introduce yourself to them. My solo exhibition New Tech Girls - Bikini Issue will open to the public on Thursday, July 4th with a reception the following week on Wednesday, July 10th from 6-9pm. The show will remain on view until Sunday, July 21st.
