Hey ho, my name is Jo.
I’m an illustrator based in Wroclaw, Poland, collaborating with the clients around the world, such as The Guardian, ELLE Italia or Opéra National de Paris.
Can’t live without traveling, palm trees and prosecco.
My favourite bar of the many around kreuzkölln is Bellman. After its sudden closure and reopening it underwent some changes and is boycotted by some of its former patronage, but for the less principled like myself it’s still a good place to go and they do pull the best Jever in Berlin.
KINDL- Center for Contemporary Art. It’s an old brewery that has been transformed into an Art Center, … both galleries often have unusual, beautiful and thought provoking shows.
Just until recently this place used to be one big old Aphoteke (Pharmacy). They have kept the Apotheke's dark wood Art Deco charm to use in benefit of great coffee and fantastic brunch (try the french toast and you'll see I'm not lying).
Berlin has plenty of magic cafés in every corner. This is one of them. It's quiet and it has a mixture of lights and furniture that really catches me. Cakes and coffees are also very tasty.
