The number 9 bus is the last of London’s old Routemasters. It’s a reminder of how far London has come over the years both in technology and design. The route itself is also one of the Heritage routes going past all of London’s key attractions such as Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Hyde Park Corner and the Royal Albert Hall and the buses are still run by a traditional conductor which is fun and keeps things personal. It is a quintessential London journey.

The tunnels are a Crane.tv favourite. We have used the space as a backdrop for several films including a music session with The Civil Wars. The tunnels have a great story behind them and feature one of the only legal graffiti walls in London on their Leake Street side which was championed by Banksy back in 2008.

Dover Street is the true creative hub of Mayfair and a breath of fresh air driving straight through an area often perceived as stuffy. Landmarks such as the wonderful Dover Street Market (don't forget to sample the fresh carrot cake at Rose Bakery on its 4th floor) on very effectively pull creative people towards the area which equates to plenty of street style to appreciate. Our Crane.tv offices are also located on Dover Street, naturally adding to the street’s charm!

I was born in the mid 1980's and grow up in London. From always having a fascination with mechanical objects and relentlessly playing with lego as a child becoming a still life photographer seemed like a natural progression. There is something enormously rewarding about creating exactly whats in your head. I try and make my images on first glance look completely perfect but on closer inspection its revealed there are many imperfections, if you look closer at the 'Wrapping Paper Series' you can see all the joins and creases. I think this makes it look and feel like a photograph and not CGI.
