I took this image looking straight up at the barrel-vaulted ceiling which is decorated with constellations. The more prominent stars are lit up by LEDs. This space is one of the most magical in the city. According to legend, the sky was intentionally inverted to show how it would appear from God’s point of view from beyond the celestial sphere.

A not-for-profit community museum and civic organization located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The museum traces the history of New York City's five boroughs with its exhibitions of cultural ephemera and relics.

The Office NYC showcases a deep spirits collection; pre-Prohibition style cocktails; signature offerings and “Dealer’s Choice,” where bartenders create a tailored drink based on patron’s preferences, ranging from citrus or herbal tones and favorite seasons to their favorite movie characters, destinations and more. (It also has an awesome icecream sundae)

The Christmas light House in the Bronx is a neighborhood fixture that is hard to miss. It is decorated year round with life size statues and is painted  bright pink. Though it draws most of its audience during the holidays it is an anomaly throughout the seasons. Such a bizarre place with such exuberant colors and vibrancy attracts an artists eye and will draw you in.
