Jardin du Palis-Royal - 1780  Secret place. Between the Louvre and the Place de la Concorde, a wonderful french-style garden. In the 1780’s, Philippe IV of Orleans (later named “Philippe Egalité” ) acquired the whole place. Extravagant and overly indebted, he decided to build shops around his gardens and rent them out. Convinced by the idea of having a theatre, the Duke thus decided to build the “Comédie française”.

Delicious. Mainly, if you've never been - go and get the chocolate mousse for dessert because you won't shut up about it for years to come.

This bookstore only opened recently in my neighbourhood. I spend a lot of time there looking at the many exhibitions organized in its gallery.

Just down the street from the impossible to get into Frenchie, you can complete the Gregory Marchand hat trick at the latest outpost from the renowned Frenchie chef. The Anglo-inspired eatery features excellent Reubens, flavorful fish and chips, sweet treats like brownies and pecan pie, housemade ginger beer, pickles & maple smoked bacon, and a great beer list.

Beautiful independant Cinema recently restaured hiding a rooftop bar. If you ask nicely you can access the bar without having to buy a ticket to movie and enjoy the view on one of the most dynamic avenues of the city. Mosaic lovers will enjoy.
