Love this shop. Has a coffee shop and a space to work in. There is plenty of light and everything is gorgeous!

Its quite a trip out there but so very worth it if you wanna have the very special beach-experience! You can go there by car and then take the ferry either to Pines or Cherry Grove (I would prefer Pines!) or you do all by public transportation - there a "getaway tickes" for 36Dollars and the transfer works really smooth - may even be faster than by car!

The Christmas light House in the Bronx is a neighborhood fixture that is hard to miss. It is decorated year round with life size statues and is painted  bright pink. Though it draws most of its audience during the holidays it is an anomaly throughout the seasons. Such a bizarre place with such exuberant colors and vibrancy attracts an artists eye and will draw you in.

I've been coming to Blue Ribbon for many years, primarily for lunch, go simple with the house salad or all in with the Omakase

This botanical garden is massive. If you like to be surrounded by foliage, bring a picnic on a nice day.
