When I have a bit of money I like to go there with friends to celebrate our happiness and miseries.

We are an independent, non-profit, online radio station live streaming 24/7 from a reclaimed shipping container on an empty lot in NYC.

City Island is a seaside town in the Bronx. Known for its fishing, seafood, and main street it is a self-contained working-class haven. The buildings range from late 1800's houses to 1960's storefronts, and you can smell the ocean everywhere on the island. Restaurants and local pubs dot City Island Ave, and even the few empty storefronts stay vibrant. 

Serves as a special outdoor photoshoot-location! Great "natural" backdrop and good to have a walk around in the area as well!

Adore is my favorite spot to carefully select a few beautiful flowers to take home or bring as a gift. I always try to pair my visit with a trip right around the corner, to Dashwood Books, for a great selection of art books.
